Reckoning

Today’s page is the original title page for RECKONING Issue 2.

Many of my artistic endeavors (and much of my survival over the past few years) can be attributed to help from my good friend Dennis Mengelt.

Dennis designed Boxed In, which, in case you have been in a cave, is one of the most popular puzzle games ever designed for the iPhone. I’m told it’s being ported for use on the Android OS, so if your phone doesn’t suck, you should go download it.

Ashley Gregory was one of my coworkers at NCO, which was a hellish hellish office job. Imagine a not-funny version of Mike Judge’s Office Space. That was NCO. Ashley helped keep me sane.

Ron Joseph was another NCO alumnus, who also happened to be a poet and one of my best cheerleaders. Don’t talk to him much anymore, unfortunately. I should see to correcting that.

Mirel Santiago is the younger sister of my hetero life-mate and former business partner Darius McCaskey. Mirel helped me through a particularly painful breakup that I happened to be going through when RECKONING was originally coming out.

Back to current events, today marks the first auditions for my slasher film. I’m pretty freaking psyched! Feet fail me not!
